NEW COVER COMING FRIDAY — “LEGO HOUSE” BY ED SHEERAN
I’m incredibly excited to announce that my new cover of “Lego House” by Ed Sheeran will be officially released this Friday. 🎶
From the first time I heard this song, there was something about its honesty that stayed with me. “Lego House” captures the vulnerability of wanting to build something meaningful with another person while knowing that love can be complicated, fragile, and sometimes difficult to hold together.
Reimagining this song has been a deeply personal and inspiring experience. I wanted to explore the emotion behind the lyrics while bringing my own sound and perspective to the story. Rather than simply recreating the original, I wanted to create a version that feels intimate, atmospheric, and honest.
There’s something incredibly powerful about the idea at the heart of “Lego House”—building something piece by piece. Relationships, memories, trust, and connection are all made from small moments. Sometimes everything fits perfectly, and sometimes things fall apart and have to be rebuilt.
That idea became a major part of how I approached this cover.
I experimented with different vocal textures, harmonies, dynamics, and atmospheric elements to create a sound that allows the emotion to breathe. I wanted the quieter moments to feel vulnerable and close, while letting the bigger sections carry the weight of everything the song is trying to express.
The creative process took time. I explored different arrangements and vocal approaches until I found a version that felt authentic to both the spirit of the song and my own artistic voice. Every detail was intentional—from the spaces between the notes to the moments where the emotion takes over.
What I love most about “Lego House” is that beneath its simplicity, there’s so much feeling. It speaks to the desire to hold onto something, to make it work, and to keep building even when you’re not completely sure what the future will look like.
This cover gave me the opportunity to sit with those emotions and tell the story in my own way.
