New Cover Coming Friday: “Fix You” (BTS Version)
I’m incredibly excited to announce that my new cover of “Fix You” will be officially released this Friday.
This song has always held a special place in my heart. The version performed by BTS brought a fresh emotional perspective to an already timeless song, and creating my own interpretation has been both a challenge and an incredibly meaningful experience. I’m genuinely excited to finally share it with you.
The first time I heard Fix You, I was struck by its honesty and vulnerability. It speaks to moments of loss, disappointment, and uncertainty, while also offering comfort and hope. There’s something powerful about a song that acknowledges pain without being consumed by it, and that message has always resonated deeply with me.
With this cover, I wanted to capture the warmth and emotional sincerity that make the song so special. Rather than simply recreating what already exists, I focused on creating an atmosphere that feels personal and immersive—one that allows the lyrics and emotions to breathe. My goal was to honor the spirit of the song while bringing my own voice and perspective to it.
This project has been in the works for quite some time. I experimented with different arrangements, vocal textures, and production ideas until everything felt authentic. Every detail was chosen with intention, from the gentle moments of reflection to the powerful emotional peaks that define the song’s journey. I wanted each section to feel like a step toward healing, growth, and acceptance.
The creative process pushed me creatively and emotionally. I spent countless hours refining harmonies, shaping dynamics, and exploring ways to make the song feel both intimate and cinematic. What began as a cover gradually became something more—a reminder of the strength we find in difficult moments and the people who help us through them.
